OCC project

JCC's project to have more of an online presence with their stock and it's availability involved the parent company Leviton and their Oracle team, as well as the UK team for data exposure. This portal was a significant advance for JCC in moving the ordering and querying away from the telephone sales team, thus freeing them up for other work.

My role in this project was to create a range of stored procedures (some of them very unorthodox to fit in with OIC data requirements) to provide live views to the data. Other stored procedures were also created to provide daily data downloads. These were partnered with SSIS packages that ran the required stored procedures and placed them in a secure FTP site.

These were all unit and user tested satisfactorily and placed on the DWH server for access by the OIC applications.
